Live streaming provider in Hesse
Team, equipment and platform sit in Wetzlar. We produce across Hesse — and regularly well beyond it.

At a glance (as of August 2026): MediaEvent Services is a live streaming provider based in Wetzlar in the Lahn-Dill district of Hesse, founded in 1999. We produce internal and external live formats for companies across the region — employee meetings, town halls, works meetings, hybrid events — on our own platform with data processing in the EU. The production team travels to the venue; where there is no in-person audience, we produce remotely.
The location: Wetzlar, Lahn-Dill district
MediaEvent Services has worked out of Wetzlar since 1999. This is not a sales office or a mailing address: the production team, the equipment and the development of the webcast platform SlideSync are all here. For customers in the region that has two practical consequences — the journey is short, and the people responsible are reachable in the same time zone and the same language, including the evening before an event.
From Wetzlar the region’s business locations are one to two hours away: Gießen and Marburg in under 30 minutes, Frankfurt am Main in around 45 minutes, Limburg, Darmstadt, Fulda and Kassel within two hours.
Formats for companies in Hesse
The focus is on internal communication — where a failure does not lose a few viewers but is noticed by the entire workforce at the same moment.
- Employee meeting and works meeting — company-wide, often with works council involvement and several sites.
- Town hall and all-hands — management in dialogue with the workforce, with moderated Q&A and an approval workflow.
- Hybrid events — an in-person audience on site, remote attendees included on equal terms.
- Multilingual formats — for mid-sized companies with plants abroad, with live captions and live translation.
External formats such as the annual general meeting and the IR call carry their own requirements; for the Frankfurt financial centre we have described them on a separate page.
On site or remote — when each makes sense
If there is an audience in the room, the production belongs at the venue: camera crew, vision mixing, audio and lighting. How that runs is described on on-site livestream production.
Where two or three people speak from their desks instead, a remote production saves time and money without making the broadcast any worse. With several hundred simultaneous viewers on the corporate network, an Enterprise Content Delivery Network is added so that the site’s internet connection does not become the bottleneck.
The same platform carries events for regulated institutions and listed companies alike: BaFin and the Deutsche Bundesbank — whose media library on bundesbank.de also runs on it — alongside E.ON, Deutsche Bahn, thyssenkrupp, ZF Friedrichshafen, MAHLE, STADA, CWS, the freenet Group, SWISS, Swissport and AirPlus.
Frequently asked questions
Do you produce across the whole of Hesse?
Yes. From Wetzlar, Gießen and Marburg are under 30 minutes away, Frankfurt am Main around 45 minutes, and Limburg, Darmstadt, Fulda and Kassel within two hours. We also produce outside Hesse — the journey is then a cost factor, not an obstacle.
How do you handle the works council and data protection?
For internal formats, co-determination is usually the longer path, not the technology. It helps to settle early what gets recorded, who may watch the recording and for how long, and whether questions are asked by name or anonymously. SlideSync processes attendee, question and poll data exclusively in the EU, and a data processing agreement is in place.
How much lead time do you need?
A standard setup needs one to two weeks. Four weeks is the recommendation — branding, test stream and dress rehearsal then happen without pressure. Annual general meetings are fixed much earlier anyway.
What does a production cost?
A simple webinar stream on a self-service platform starts at around €500 per event. A produced event with an on-site team, redundant transmission and multilingual support costs €4,000 to €30,000 per event depending on scope. For recurring formats, an annual contract for the streaming platform brings the per-event price down considerably.
