Live streaming provider for Frankfurt and Rhine-Main
Annual general meetings, IR calls and press conferences for companies and institutions at the financial centre — on a platform we run ourselves.

At a glance (as of August 2026): MediaEvent Services produces live streams for companies and institutions across the Rhine-Main region — annual general meetings, IR calls, analyst calls and press conferences. Transmission runs on our own platform, SlideSync, with data processing in the EU. The same platform carries the events of the Deutsche Bundesbank and BaFin, both based in Frankfurt am Main. From our site in Wetzlar it is 66 kilometres, around 45 minutes.
Why a financial centre asks different questions
A live stream out of Frankfurt is usually aimed at shareholders, analysts, supervisory authorities or the financial press. That shifts what matters about the broadcast: reach is not the deciding factor — who is allowed to watch is, along with where the data is processed and whether the event keeps running when something fails.
Four requirements come up in these conversations again and again:
- Access control. Single sign-on via SAML 2.0, token-based access or a closed attendee list — and, for annual general meetings, accreditation through the share registrar.
- Data processing in the EU. Attendee, question and poll data never leave the EU, and a data processing agreement is in place.
- Redundancy. Two separate transmission paths, a backup encoder and a second operator — not as an option, but as the default state.
- Evidence. Who was connected, which question was asked when, what was answered — as an export, not as a recollection.
Formats we produce for companies in the Rhine-Main region
- Virtual annual general meeting — with shareholder accreditation, speaking rights and a question process that can be minuted.
- IR call and analyst call — closed attendee list, dial-in by phone, recording for the investor relations page.
- Online press conference — moderated Q&A with an approval workflow, embargoes and an embed on your own newsroom page.
- Town hall and employee meeting — internal, multilingual, with live captions where needed.
How to tell a suitable provider apart
The regional market is crowded, but most of it works to a different purpose: broadcasting to public channels such as YouTube or Vimeo, plus corporate films and product launches. For a company anniversary that is exactly right. For an annual general meeting it is exactly wrong — there the broadcast must not be public.
Three questions show quickly who you are dealing with:
- Who owns the platform? Broadcasting through a public video service hands over access control and data processing. We run SlideSync ourselves.
- What happens if the internet at the venue fails? A dependable setup has redundant transmission paths — a second, independent connection that takes over without the audience noticing. What that looks like here is described under on-site livestream production.
- Are there references from regulated sectors? An annual general meeting is not an event with a camera; it is a legal act that happens to be broadcast.
Travel, lead time and cost
Our site is in Wetzlar, 66 kilometres and roughly 45 minutes from Frankfurt via the A45 and A5. The production team travels to you; for setup, the technical check the day before and the dress rehearsal, that proximity is the practical difference against a provider who has to fly in.
For preparation we recommend four weeks of lead time — enough for platform branding, a test stream, a dress rehearsal and a written escalation plan. One to two weeks is workable at short notice; annual general meetings are fixed much earlier anyway. For urgent crisis communication we have delivered lead times of under 48 hours.
As a guide to cost: a simple webinar stream on a self-service platform starts at around €500 per event. A professionally produced event with an on-site team, redundant transmission and multilingual support typically ranges between €4,000 and €30,000 per event. For recurring formats, an annual contract for the streaming platform brings the per-event price down considerably.
The same platform carries events for regulated institutions and listed companies alike: BaFin and the Deutsche Bundesbank — whose media library on bundesbank.de also runs on it — alongside E.ON, Deutsche Bahn, thyssenkrupp, ZF Friedrichshafen, MAHLE, STADA, CWS, the freenet Group, SWISS, Swissport and AirPlus.
Frequently asked questions
Do you produce on site in Frankfurt?
Yes. The production team travels from Wetzlar, around 45 minutes away, and brings the camera crew, vision mixing, audio and transmission equipment. Where there is no in-person audience, a remote production is often the faster and cheaper route.
Can you deliver an AGM with shareholder accreditation?
Yes. SlideSync is integrated with the share registrars ADEUS and Computershare, so access can be restricted to accredited shareholders. Speaking rights, the question process and the reporting all run on the same platform.
What does a professional live stream in Frankfurt cost?
A simple webinar stream on a self-service platform starts at around €500 per event. A produced event with an on-site team, redundant transmission and multilingual support costs €4,000 to €30,000 per event depending on scope. Travel from Wetzlar barely registers in that figure.
How quickly can you take on a broadcast?
A standard setup needs one to two weeks. Four weeks is the recommendation, because branding, test stream and dress rehearsal then happen without pressure. For crisis communication we have produced in under 48 hours.
